A field of 71 faced the starter on a calm slightly overcast day
in grades A, A/B, B,B/C,C,C/D,D and E.
A grade made their way through the field to catch the front makers by the climb up Neudorf Hill with Matthew Black breaking away on the hill only to snap his frame forcing a withdrawl. A break of six continued on to climb the Moutere Hill together where Robin Reid break a deraileur and had to withdraw. Five continued on to the finish with the result being:
1st - Daniel Ellison (Fastest time) - 2h 01m 05s
2nd - Chris Nicholson
3rd - Kristoff Ford
4th - Cameron Ford
5th - Peter Crampton

Race Route

Race departs from opposite the Kart track on the Moutere Highway, over the Moutere saddle, left onto Edwards, left onto Waiwhero road, through Ngatimoti, left at Woodstock on to Dovedale Road, left onto Neudorf Road,over the Neudorf saddle, right back onto the Moutere Highway, back over the Moutere saddle left into Redwood Road to finish approximately 600m past the oneway bridge.
