Cycling Nelson riders Dean Fulton, Jeannie Kuhajek and Brian Grant competed in Auckland over Labour Weekend.
Fulton showed excellent form on the challenging 40km time trial course posting a 4th placing in the Senior Men's field while Kuhajek was 10th over the 25km Senior Women's course.
In cool and blustery conditions that took their toll on the fields in the 114km Road Race Kuhajek finished 11th. Making his debut at a National level Grant raced the Masters 1 grade finishing a very creditable 16th amidst an impressive finishing field.
